La Sportiva Table RockThe La Sportiva Table Rock 10K & 27K is a true competition for event-experienced and novice mountain runners alike. The race starts off with a bang, as you climb 2,000′ in just over 2 miles up the infamous Willow Camp hill. In between the heavy breaths, take in the views of Stinson Beach and the Pacific Ocean along the ridge-line and tight single-track of the Coastal Trail. The 10K makes a breathtaking decent using the runner-favorite damp and twisting Matt Davis Trail. The 27K continues south towards the more exposed sections of Mt. Tam before making way back to the finish. In this race you’ll get to scream downhill along the Coast View Fire Road, then meander through the tight switchbacks of Heather Cutoff. After a quick break along Redwood Creek you’ll climb back up the mountain along the nation-famous Dipsea Trail. After the Cardiac Hill summit comes the bomb back down to Stinson Beach, with incredible views – and harrowing steps – along the way. Bring the family and enjoy the best Marin has to offer.
